Here's my WIP. I don't think I've quite got all the colours in yet, and the background obviously needs a lot of work at the moment.

Very scribbly WIP. Tablecloth, two pears and some cherries.

@Zaph: Nice work so far, I like the bowl. Not sure about the dither on the fence though

The challege is to use those 14 colors and only those 14 colors.

*The 15th color (transparency) is the only loophole.

@Phrozen : Awesome, the cherries are great and the colors are wonderfully used. :D
@Zaph : The perspective is great, but I wouldn't recommend dithering on the bowl.

And mine of course!

Little update
By the way, which apple is better? 1 or 2?
And, how are the colors on the banana?

@Doom: I like 1 better...

@Phrozen: your WIP gives me imaginary boners :9. Only they're real. Anyway...

since I had already done a still life with those "classical" fruits (eg. lemons, apples, etc), I decided to bend the subjects a lil': those are all brazilian fruits (starting from down-right and going clockwise): jackfruit, cashews, guava, graviola, umbu, aa and a pinha (sorta like pine) on the plate.

 I tought that since the fruits were already odd enough, I'd stick to uncreative/vanilla color choices, but now that I see those WIPs I think that maybe this wasn't a smart move at all...

Anyway, I'm sorta of pleased with how it looks now but I want to explore deeper, C+C? The background is a place holder right now, ideas for it are quite welcome. And I'm not sure I'll have the willpower to properly texture this.

btw when I saw all these WIPs I decided to quit mine would look bad and I have other stuff to pixel...

So many great WIPs, this week will be hard to vote for.

*I'm really impressed by Phrozen's piece, looks different than all the others even tho the same colors, I likes eet a lot.
Although the frame corners are questionable.
