A wonky and unfinished sketch I've done at school. The reason it's wonky is because the mouse was wonky 8/ I'll work on the "scenery" first, and will deal with text later.

Well, I personally can't wait to see what you'll do with this. I'll give you a confidence boost by saying that I worked 5h on my submission which is still just line art and still manages to look really bad. But I guess that's what separates the noobs (me) from the masters (you).

Well, I want to eventually be able to make non-crappy art for my video game projects. I'm a programmer by training and haven't had much experience with art/drawing/painting/anything-art-related so please be gentle. If there's one thing I'm good at it's learning so here's hoping. I'll be participating in the weekly challenges so you might want to avert your eyes until I get a little better.

I was thinking of making this mostly grayscale with only a few other colors (possibly only a couple shades of red for blood and of green for army/camo gear + zombie-skin). Each of the letters, some more so so than others, should tell a story.

For example, the S could be a prisoner of war, T could be a spy being tortured, the two Fs are zombies, the G was wounded in war, had to have his legs amputated and is currently doing exercises for rehabilitation purposes. I'll think of the others as I go along.

Oh ya, and it's supposed to read "Gunz N' Stuff".

I don't think I have the talent to do justice to my idea above so I'm going for something different here.

It looks a bit off now because of the shading but I'd like to animate this such that the letters are jumping/shuffling/popping-out on the book cover.

It looks really cool. I'm not an expert but I think the ninja's outline looks a little funny to me, maybe's it's the color? I'm not sure.
