Your piece is great beetleking. I rated it high.

Weston (Level 5 Detective) @ 10/16/2014 17:36

Oh. Yeah, I was a bit confused by that. Because the favs are visible to everyone, but the squares aren't.

The voting squares under all pixelart.

Most total squares in the month is #1.
2nd most is #2...

Faves do not count for this.

Ah, cool. So...what are the rankings based on?

It's a terrific piece Adcrusher. It could be higher on another month.

Monthly top rewards are a way to have a quick-peek to the last month, and a way to easily scroll through the galleries of the super-pixellers. They have a function besides being small shiny things.

On the other hand, if it weren't for these super guys, we would have much less member activity.

That's not necessarily true. It's the first time Adcrusher, Zch, Mandrill and Weston have gotten on this (gratz to you peeps btw).

You're not totally wrong since it's definitely not Cyanmous or Thu's first time getting in the monthly top, but that's what you get for being super talented, there's nothing wrong with that imo >.<

I think most pjers (and I could be totally wrong) look at the peeps who do get to the monthly a lot and usually think something along the lines of 'wow that's really good' and view it more as a goal that they can also strive for. Besides, it's not like the peeps who do get on this list frequently get on it for no reason at all, they've put just (or more) as much effort into their pieces as anyone else imho

I totally see where you're coming from, but I don't really see how there would be an alternative anyways :L (and this way isn't that bad either).

EDIT: though when you see a piece by a skillfull pjer and you can already predict that it will be on the monthly, it's only on the monthly because the community members put it their with their ratings n stuff.

Is there even a point to this doo doo?
