Pixel Art Challenge: Gliese TV

The following message has been sent from Gliese 581 g and translated into English:

Greetings Earthlings, we have noticed that you have just discovered our planet. Do not fear though, as we are a peaceful people. To prove that we mean no harm, we are sending you a sampling of some typical television broadcasts from our planet.

You, the ambassador of Earth (and talented pixel artist), have decided to show that us humans also mean no harm. To do this you've decided to create a piece of pixel art that shows a scene from one of their alien TV shows.

It can be any show you like; be it a sitcom, a gameshow, a news broadcast, whatever. Anything is fine as long as it's clear that it's a TV show originating from another planet (namely, Gliese 581 g)

Canvas Size - Unrestricted.
Colours - Max 32.
Transparency - No.
Animation - Optional.

The challenge thread will have all the challenge updates. The thread is also a great place to post your WIPs.

Oooh, I'm excited to see stuff. (I think I'll sit this one out but I still love watching from the sidelines when there's a good challenge going on.)
